The Community Elites Scholarship Scheme is committed to supporting dedicated and deserving students from Opoji Community in their academic journey. To ensure fairness, transparency, and merit-based selection, applicants are required to carefully review the eligibility criteria, required documents, and disqualification rules before submitting their applications.

✅ Step-by-Step Eligibility Checklist

Citizenship & Residency
  • Must be an indigene of Opoji Community or a recognized resident with verifiable proof.
  • Must possess a valid means of identification (e.g., NIN).
  • Educational Level
  • Secondary Category: Final-year secondary school students preparing for WAEC/NECO/JAMB.
  • Tertiary Category: Undergraduate students currently enrolled in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, or Colleges of Education.
  • Academic Standing
  • Secondary applicants must demonstrate satisfactory school performance.
  • Tertiary applicants must posses good academic results and maintain a minimum GPA/CGPA as set by the scholarship board after enrolement..
  • Conduct & Character
  • Must show evidence of good character, discipline, and no record of examination malpractice or school misconduct.
  • Must be active and positively engaged in community activities.

    Applicants should prepare clear scanned copies of the following:
  • Admission Letter.
  • JAMB Result.
  • O'Level Results.
  • Recomendation Letter.

  • Failure to meet academic requirements.
  • More than two O’Level sittings (secondary applicants).
  • Misrepresentation of residency or community status.
  • Indiscipline, misconduct, or fraudulent activities.
